For brands & sponsors

Back the game where it’s actually played.

Sponsor school and community cricket programmes, or put your brand inside the animated worlds players choose for their highlight reels — under rules that protect the players, and children most of all.

Two ways in

Different budgets buy different things. We keep them apart.

A foundation backing a programme and a marketing team building a brand want different evidence, on different timelines. Tell us which you are and the conversation starts in the right place.

For CSR & foundation teams

Sponsor a programme

Fund a school or community cricket programme, and your name rides on the reels its children choose to share with their families — made on the coach’s phone, with no child’s footage ever uploaded.

  • The programme uses CricCuts free — you are backing their cricket, not buying software for them
  • Your fee is yours, never the programme’s, and we say so to them plainly
  • Branding follows the programme’s consent rules, not the other way round

Sports training appears in Schedule VII of India’s Companies Act, 2013, so a programme like this may plausibly count towards CSR. Whether your spend qualifies is for your own compliance team to confirm. Not legal advice.

For marketing teams

Put your brand in the frame

The app already drops a batter into animated backdrop worlds — a floodlit stadium, a temple gate, a night-fest street, a windswept beach. Your brand can live inside them.

  • In-scene placement — your mark in the scenery of the scenes players pick for their reels
  • A world of your own — a backdrop scene commissioned around your brand, from a re-skin in your colours to a bespoke animated world
  • Art built around the player, never over them

You are buying a piece of art that players choose to play inside — not impressions pushed at them.

Why it’s different

A brand in the reel a player chose to share.

Private by construction

Footage is analysed and rendered on the player’s phone. We don’t hold their videos, and we don’t profile children — which keeps a family-facing brand a long way from the risks cloud tools carry.

Grassroots, not highlights of stars

These are nets sessions, school matches and neighbourhood games — the cricket most people in the country actually play, shared by the people who played it.

Honest measurement

We report only what we can verify, say where every number comes from, and expect your own analytics to check ours. An independent impact assessment should come from an independent assessor — not from us.

The rules

What we won’t do, at any price.

Stated up front, so nobody wastes a meeting. These apply to every sponsorship and every scene.

Brands we don’t work with

  • Real-money gaming, including indirect or surrogate promotion
  • Alcohol, tobacco and pan masala brands — by brand, not just by product

Things we never do

  • Advertising targeted at children, or profiling them
  • A logo across a player, or across a child’s face
  • A scene that covers the batter — the player always comes first

Sponsored reels say that they are sponsored.

Straight with you

We’re early, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

CricCuts is a young, independent product. We don’t have audience figures to sell you yet, and we won’t invent them. There is no ready-made roster of programmes waiting behind this page.

What there is: an app that already puts players inside animated worlds, schools and community programmes that can use it free, and a small number of first sponsorships we want to get genuinely right — scoped with you, measured honestly, and shown publicly only where consent allows.

Tell us the brief

Which budget, what you want to achieve, and where. A few lines is plenty.

We scope it with you

Programme, placement or a scene of your own. Every brief is quoted individually — by programme size, or by how much art and animation it needs.

Start small, then grow

A first season with one programme or one scene. If it works, we build on it together.

Questions brands ask

The quick answers.

What does it cost?

There is no rate card. Programme sponsorship is scoped by the size of the programme; a commissioned scene by how much art and animation it needs, from a re-skin in your colours to a bespoke animated world. Tell us the brief and we’ll come back with a quote.

Can we target a particular audience?

Not children — ever. Placement is agreed programme by programme and scene by scene, not built on anyone’s personal data. Footage never leaves the player’s phone, so we have no viewing profile of anyone to target with.

Do you have programmes ready for a sponsor?

Not as a list you can pick from, no. We are starting with a small number of schools and community programmes, and a sponsorship is arranged with a specific programme that wants it — never imposed on one.

How long does a commissioned scene take?

A re-skin of an existing scene is quick. A new scene is built as part of an app release, so it takes longer — we’ll give you a lead time with the quote.

Will you tell us our spend qualifies as CSR?

No — that’s for your compliance team. We can explain why a sports-training programme plausibly fits Schedule VII, but whether your spend qualifies, and through which implementing agency, is your call. Not legal advice.

Start a conversation

Tell us what you have in mind.

No commitment. It tells us you’re interested, and which conversation to start.

  1. We reply by email, usually with a few questions.
  2. We scope it together — programme, placement or a scene of your own.
  3. You get a quote for that brief, not a rate card.
